We didn't perform on the level we wanted to do in the game against Vasas but it was enough to collect our next victory.

Betti got the game going with a three-point play, to which Jeca added two from the foul line. Then Heljic scored the first points for Vasas, but Dalma was able to answer back right away at the other end. After that we kept scoring and forced Attila Földi's first time-out in the game by increasing our lead into the double-digit region for the first time in the game (4th minute 12-2). In the second part of the quarter the picture didn't change at all, we kept scoring and held off Vasas which led to a 15-point advantage (8th minute 23-8). Vasas finished the first period with an 8-4 interval but we were still in a double-digit lead by the end (10th minute 27-16).
Madár and Alíz exchanged buckets to open the second part of the game. After that Virág drew and unsportsmanlike foul on Tóth, and split a pair of free throws, but from the possession afterward Tina scored from close in (12th minute 32-18). Then Betti and Aleks made one basket each, the former for two and the latter for three, to which Zsófi also added a shot from way downtown increasing our advantage over twenty points (15th minute 39-18). Eight minutes into the quarter we were on a 19-4 run thanks to a great team effort on both ends of the court. With less than a minute remaining from the half Dávid Gáspár decided to talk things over with his team and called a time-out (49-20). Jeca gave a spectacular pass to Dalma under the rim for a lay-up, which set the difference at thirty points for the half-time (20th minute 51-21).
Tóth made the first basket of the second half for two points, to which Vukov added a triple, and when Heljic also made a lay-up Dávid Gáspár called his team to the bench for a time-out (22nd minute 51-28). The talk proved effective, Jeca stole the ball and ran down the court for a lay-up after the short pause, but then Heljic immediately replied with a double of her own. Six minutes into the period we managed to restore the thirty-point difference from half-time again with a three-point play by Aleks (26th minute 63-33). In this quarter the guests kept up well with us, which meant that we couldn't increase our advantage further, what's more, they even came closer to us (30th minute 65-42).
Tina got the final stage of the game going with an open lay-up, and then she also handed out an assist to Debi for three (32nd minute 70-42). After that Vasas came up with a 5-0 run to reduce the gap and force our next time-out (70-47). Virág hit one from behind the arc after the break, and then she did it again from the corner. That's when Böröndy beat Debi one-on-one for a lay-up and drew a foul for an extra shot, but she missed the and-one. Virág was unstoppable at that point, she came up with yet another steal and finished the offense with a lay-up. With two minutes remaining on the clock our victory was official, the only question remaining unanswered was the final difference (89-55). We were on the court with a full Hungarian line-up, and were still able to compete with the guests, which shows the depth of our roster. Betti put the cherry on top of our cake with a last-minute lay-up, setting the final score (40th minute 95-60).
Dávid Gáspár: Congratulations to Vasas! They created many situations for us which we couldn't handle well today. They beat us many times one-on-one, even though we prepared for them, but we couldn't execute the tasks we had planned to do. We failed in that regard. We have to find our game again I would like to see motivated players on court! A lot of times I felt like we weren't playing with the energy necessary, values have been lost in the players' heads. We wanted to score no matter what, and that is okay, that is why we love this game so much, but we can't ignore the tasks that brought us to where we are right now. We can play a lot better than this! I understand that the team hasn't been together for 2-4 weeks which affected our game, but we cannot hide behind that excuse! We'll keep working, because we want to come up with a lot better showing on Thursday! I wish Vasas the best of luck to reach their goals!
Tina Krajisnik: Congratulations to Vasas, they played very nicely! We won and we can be happy about that but I am not satisfied. We have made a lot of mistakes on defense, especially in the second half. We know what we have to do and what we are capable of doing. We have to focus on our tasks and keep working hard!
Attila Földi: Unfortunately we started the game exactly the way we didn't want to. We wanted to compete with great energy to keep up with a team like this. That didn't happen, we had the wrong attitude towards the game. We tried to get it together in the break. Sopron wasn't that motivated at a thirty-point difference and we were able to take advantage of that. The young players showed a lot of things on which we can build in the future.
Orsolya Tóth: We started the first half very badly both on offense and on defense. We played a lot better in the third quarter, we gave our best and tried to do whatever we could.
