A decision has been made about the arrangement of Euroleague, which begins at the end of October with the qualifiers, and the first round will take place at the end of November-beginning of December.
There were two different preliminary version worked out, on which the 18 teams and 10 federations involved were able to vote. The vote came out tied, so FIBa made the final decision, according to which the season will go down as follows. The qualifiers will be held at the end of October (28/29), after which the first round will be played with the participation of 16 teams between November 29 and December 5 in one location in a bubble form, with groups of four, three games each. That will be followed by another round in January between the 17th and the 23rd, concluding the regular season with two bubble form arrangements. All teams will face six games.
Our club was sorted in to Group D along with Turkish side Galatasaray, Bourges from France, and another French side, Basket Landes.
The first two teams in the groups will advance to the playoffs, the 3rd and 4th seeds will terminate their international campaign, they will not receive a spot in EuroCup.
The playoffs will be held from the 14th to the 20th of March, also in one location, in a bubble form, where the teams will compete against each other in a two-game series. In case of advancing from the group our team will face teams from Group B, which will be two of Prague, Fenerbahce, Lyon and Gdynia.
Rest of the groups:
Group A: Kursk, orenburg, Avenida DVTK/Izmit

The teams can apply to host the bubble events the conditions of which will be presented to the clubs by FIBA in the next 7-10 days.
Zoltán Török: A responsible decision was made!
I am glad that FIBA moved from their original plan, and took the teams' requests into consideration - added managing director Zoltán Török. - Although FIBA have not supported the version that our club, DVTK and the Hungarian Federation did, this arrangement is also acceptable for us! A bit of criticism towards this version may be that the number of games is low, but we also have to add that it cares about the health of players and other staff members as much as we wanted.
In connection with the decision FIBA mentioned the similar, working arrangement of the Champions League, which is promising. I think a responsible decision has been made! - concluded our managing director.
