We started out strong and kept up that performance during the entire game, in which our young guns took their chance to show themselves.

Gabby gave us the early lead with two quick basket, to which she then added a triple (2nd minute 7-0). After that Lilla Szűcs converted two free throws, followed by buckets from Alíz and Tina. Approaching the middle of the quarter the difference increased into the double-digit region (15-4). In the remainder of the period we doubled our advantage led by Gabby and Tina (10th minute 33-12).
The second period began with the exchange of buckets between Vorpahl and Megan, and then the away point guard scored again. Sára came up with a three, and then Alíz hit one from close in (14th minute 43-18). The guests came closer to us wuth a three-point play by Dragana Zubac, while at the other end Sára showed hers skills again from behind the three-point line. We were still dominating the game, and after two free throws by Sára, we went into the half-time break in possession of a lead just shy of thirty points (20th minute 59-30).
A lay-up by Zubac opened the third period, and then Jeca hit a triple, while Megann answered back to Zubac’s next double from outside again (22nd minute 65-34). Two more baskets came from Pécs, and then Jeca made a double from under the rim, followed by two successful free throws by Tina. The next few minutes brought a 10-4 run, which took us even further away from our opponents, who tried to come closer with baskets by Zubac (37th minute 75-39). It was in vain, because Gabby’s mid-range double meant the forty-point difference (30th minute 79-39).
Briann’s double from far out launched the final stage of the game, in which Virág Pfeiffer made her debut in the highest division. Alíz put four points on the board, and then Demeter scored the first points in the final quarter (33rd minute 88-41). In the next few minutes both sides managed to score, but neither side was able to take controlso the difference remained the same, forcing Dávid Gáspár to call a time-out (38th minute 98-49). After multiple failed attempts Alíz scored our 100th point in the game, and after a foul at the buzzer Virág Pfeiffer’s free throw set the final score (40th minute 105-52).
Gáspár Dávid: The attitude towards the game was in place all the way through the game, we respected our opponents by playing tough and organized. That was our goal, we don't want to make differences between games, we take each and every one of them seriously! Congratulations to my team for their attitude, and I wish PINKK the best of luck in pursuit of their goals.
Sára Varga: We were able to get into a great rhythm from the first minute of the game, and were able to keep it up. Congratulations to our opponents, we will keep working and advancing!
Vanja Miljkovic: Congratulations to Sopron! They showed a strong performance! We are young, we still have to learn, and these games are useful for us, because we can learn a lot from them. Our games are coming, we are getting ready for them!
